Dhaka is the capital and largest city of Bangladesh. It is situated on the riverside of Buriganga. Dhaka has its own history, tradition and cultures. In Dhaka city, There are many places to visit. Many people come to Dhaka for visit every year. Tourist like the Dhaka city and travel the every beautiful, famous and ancient place of Dhaka. With the colourful history and rich cultural tradition, Dhaka is known as the city of mosque and Muslin.

1.Lalbagh fort

Lalbagh fort is located in old Dhaka. It is an ancient place to visit in Dhaka.  It has 3 main buildings, the Diwan-i-Aam is the two storied residence of the Mughal governor of Bengal located on the east side of the complex. The tomb of Bibi Pari, the daughter of Shaista Khan, is in the center of the complex. The Lalbagh mosque is located on the west side of the complex, it has three domes.A museum is also here.You can find ancient memorable things used by

nababs and jamider in the museum.The beauty of Lalbagh Fort is awesome. So, you must try to visit this ancient and beautiful place.

2.Ahsan Manzil

Ahsan Manzil situated at Kumartoli of Dhaka on the bank of the Buriganga. It was the official residential palace and seat of the Nawab of Dhaka.In old Dhaka, it is an amazing place to visit. The construction of this palace was started in 1859 and completed in 1872.. It was constructed in the Indo-Saracenic Revival architecture. It has been designated as a national museum.

3.Baitul Mukarram Mosque

It is the National Mosque of Bangladesh.The mosque is Located at the center of Dhaka., the mosque was completed in 1968.

4.Dhakeshwari Temple

Dhakeshwari  Temple is a Hindu temple in Dhaka city. Dhakeshwari Temple is located in Old Dhaka, about 01 km north of Lalbagh Fort, up a short alley off Dhakeshwari road. It is the national Temple in Dhaka .

5.Curzon hall

Curzon hall is located in the heart of the famous Dhaka University. the building was originally intended to be a town hall and is named after Lord Curzon, the Viceroy of India who laid its foundation stone in 1904.he Curzon Hall is a British Raj-era building and home of the Faculty of Sciences at the University of Dhaka

6.Central shahid Minar

Central Shaheed Minar is the national monument of Bangladesh. It is located near Dhaka Medical College Hospital and in the Dhaka University area.Shaheed Minar monument built in memory of the mother language martyrs, who were killed on 21 February 1952 during the language movement. A memorial to the martyrs was built immediately after the killings, on 23 February 1952.

8.Dhaka zoo

Dhaka zoo is called Bangladesh National zoo. It is situated in Mirpur, Dhaka Bangladesh.  This is the largest national zoo in Bangladesh.he most famous entertainment place of Dhaka city with area of 230 acres. The Zoo contains many native and non-native animals.Mirpur Zoo Dhaka is very near to botanical garden.

9.Botanical garden

National Botanical Garden is located in Mirpur, Dhaka adjacent of national Zoo.There are millions of plants which are eye soothing. It is one of the largest botanical gardens of Bangladesh, a nature learning center for the nature lovers, bird watchers, photographers and botanists and a tourist destination.It is divided into 57 sections, and is managed by Forest Department under Ministry of Environment and Forests, Government of Bangladesh.

10.National memorial

National memorial is situated in savar, Dhaka. National Martyrs’ Memorial is one of the greatest monuments in the history Bangladesh. is the national monument of Bangladesh, set up in the memory of those who died in the Bangladesh Liberation War of 197

11.Bangabandhu memorial museum

The house of Bangabandhau sheikh mujibur rahaman, Father of the Nation and the first President of Bangladesh was turned into Bangabundhu Memorial Museum.Bangabandhu memorial museum is  situated on the old No 32 Road of Dhanmondi Residential Area of Dhaka. The house is a three-storeyed building is called now Bangabandhu Bhaban.

12.Mukti juddha museum

Mukti Juddha Museum is situated at Segun Bagicha of the Dhaka City . It is called liberation war museum.

13.National parliament

It is  located at Sher-e-Bangla Nagar in the Bangladeshi capital of Dhaka. It is called jatiyo sangsad vhabon. National Parliament House is the house of the Parliament of Bangladesh,

National poets Graveyard

The Graveyard is adjacent to the Dhaka university mosque. Revolutionary poet Kazi Nazrul Islam died on the 29 August 1976 and was buried here.

14.Suhrawardy Uddyan

It is named after Huseyn Shaheed Suhrawardy.Suhrawardy Udyan (Bengali: formerly known as Ramna Race Course ground is a national memorial located in Dhaka, Bangladesh
